Behind the Alpine name is a chassis factory in Enstone, Oxfordshire that has worn many liveries. As Benetton it won back-to-back championships in 1994 and 1995 with Michael Schumacher. As Renault it won again in 2005 and 2006 with Fernando Alonso. The factory is the same. The walls have stories.

Renault rebranded the team to Alpine for 2021 to promote its sportscar sub-brand. After years of bouncing between top-five and bottom-five, the team gave up its in-house power unit at the end of 2025 and switched to a Mercedes customer engine for the 2026 reset.

The 2026 livery pairs French blue with hot pink. Pink because of title sponsor BWT, the Austrian water-treatment company, which only sponsors teams that agree to run pink.
